Bolivian teacher helps students - 26th June 2020

Wilfredo Negrete is a teacher in Bolivia. He visits his students on his bike. They live in the countryside.

The coronavirus is dangerous. Schools are closed. Children can’t go to school and families don’t have computers. Parents can’t teach their children.

Negrete cycles to his students. He visits them three times a week.

He also gives classes at home. The tables are far away from each other. People wash their hands in class.

Parents are very happy. They take their children to Negrete’s house. They walk kilometres every day. Their children can study.
