Meal in the air - 22nd April 2022
Have you ever had a meal in the air? Indonesia has a sky restaurant, which takes customers over 50 metres in the air and then serves dinner.
The restaurant's name is "Lounge In The Sky" and customers, chefs and waiters have to wear safety belts.
Meals at the restaurant cost $110 or more. People love the food but they also enjoy the views. The restaurant spins and gives them views of the city. Dinda Dimas is delighted with her experience.
Dinda Dimas: "This is worth such a high price because we can see the scenery and the restaurant rotates while we are eating. The food is also delicious."
But for some people, this can be very scary and they might not be hungry if they look down. Yuni was nervous at first but enjoyed the experience.
Yuni: "At first, it was not easy. I was nervous that I wouldn't be able to swallow the food, let alone drink. But after some time I could eventually eat. It was thrilling!"
"Lounge In The Sky" was opened during Ramadan, which is the Muslim month of fasting. But many Muslims enjoy breaking their fast in this unusual way.
Bayu: "It was a bit challenging indeed, but only at the beginning. But because we were up there for an hour, and we were very hungry after fasting, we could eat in the end."
The restaurant has one simple rule: go to the toilet before you go up with them. Otherwise, everyone will have to come down for you to use the toilet.
