There is something different about this picture. People made this picture from chocolate.

This chocolate picture is a copy of a famous painting. The name of the painting is Guernica. Pablo Picasso painted Guernica in 1937.

Guernica is the name of a town in Spain too. The painting shows a real event in the town. In 1937, there was a war in Spain. Planes dropped bombs on Guernica. Lots of people died.

Picasso made the painting after the bombing. He used no colours: only black, white and grey.

The painting shows the bombing of Guernica. People are hurt. People are dying.

The painting became very famous for its message: war is terrible.

The bombing happened a long time ago. But it is very important to people from Guernica. They don't want to forget it.

Chocolate makers from the area got together. They made a copy of Picasso's painting. They used 3 kinds of chocolate.

The chocolate picture will go to different towns in Spain. One of the towns will be Guernica.
