Making water from air - 23rd August 2021

Water is everywhere. But two billion people cannot get clean water to drink.

Clean water is difficult to find. The weather is changing, and too many people need clean water.

Now scientists and businesses are trying to help. One business – Watergen – has a good idea. It uses the water in the air. The air is full of billions of litres of water. Watergen changes it into water for drinking. And it's very simple to do.

Watergen doesn't need to move the water far. They don't need to clean it. And there are no plastic bottles.

Watergen can use city air too. The water from city air is clean.

People in different countries are using Watergen's machines. In Gaza, you can find them in hospitals. In Africa, they are in small villages too.

Watergen says this science can save lives. And it can also make lives better.
