SpaceX NASA rocket launch - B2

Astronauts flying business class - 3rd June 2020

A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket made history on Saturday 30th May, lifting a Dragon Crew capsule into orbit from Florida’s Kennedy Space Centre.

Blasting off from NASA’s iconic Pad 39A, this landmark mission to the International Space Station signalled the era of commercial space exploration.

The rocket and capsule were developed by Elon Musk’s company SpaceX. The crew, NASA’s Robert Behnham and Douglas Hurley, are highly experienced astronauts. They had previously boarded the Space Station piloting space shuttles. This time they arrived in just 19 hours. Docking successfully, they received warm greetings from the International Space Station crew.
