Astronauts flying business class - 3rd June 2020

The SpaceX Dragon Crew capsule launched atop a Falcon 9 rocket entered into orbit and the history books on Saturday 30th May.

Lifting off from Florida’s iconic Kennedy Space Centre Pad 39A, this mission to the International Space Station heralds a new era of space exploration. It marks the first deployment of astronauts by commercial spacecraft, with SpaceX funded by engineer and entrepreneur Elon Musk.

NASA’s highly experienced crew, Robert Behnham and Douglas Hurley, both former space shuttle pilots with past service on the Space Station, docked 19 hours after launch. They emerged from their historic craft to warm greetings from the Space Station crew.
