70s superstars ABBA are back!

Abba is making a new album and fans are overjoyed about it. They've also planned a London show.

The world famous Swedish band, who became popular after winning the 1974 Eurovision competition with Waterloo, haven't made any new music for the past 40 years.

The title of the new album is Voyage, which has 10 tracks. This news has ABBA museum manager, Mansa Faddaoui, ecstatic.

Mansa Faddaoui: "Where should I start? It feels magical, it feels like a dream, it feels like we’ve been waiting for this for a long time. We [ABBA the museum] opened in 2013 and about 2018 we heard about some new songs, today I heard two of them - how crazy is that?"

Band members Bjorn and Benny announced the new album. They are the masterminds behind the group's hit songs which sold 400 million albums. Voyage is going on sale on November 5th, 2021 with a London show in 2022 after a break for four decades. However, this show is unique. As all the band members are over 70, none of them wanted to go through the stress of live shows and tours.

As a result, the London show's using modern technology to make avatars of them. These were created by the band members wearing special suits.

Fans of all ages are so overjoyed at the news that they are not bothered if they are live or digitally projected.

Johanna Pihl: "I think there is enormous shock in my entire body just looking at the video when it started to roll out in its entirety of this global event and the fantastic sensation of being all together and now we’re finally able to be all together in some sort of way after all this. "

The May 2022 London show is the first of the digital shows and fans are eager to get tickets.
